UAE has recently opened its embassy in Nepal. For Machine Readable Passport (MRP), you need to have a current original passport and its photocopy and you also need to have a copy of UAE visa page, citizenship certificate. According to the Embassy, it will cost AED 320 to renew or issue normal MRP while it costs AED640, in case of renewing the lost or damaged MRP. In case your passport is lost, you need to bring a police report and a letter addressed to UAE Embassy from concerned company.
